On behalf of The Town of Saint Andrews and the Region 8 representatives, we are pleased to welcome our Municipal colleges, vendors, and attendees to the 48 th Annual AMANB Conference in September 2024. Our mission is to provide everyone in attendance with the most informative and entertaining experience possible as we traverse the new municipal landscapes. Our theme this year is “InspirAction”. We are now almost two years into Local Governance Reform, and it is more important now that municipal representatives continue to find inspiration and take actions that will drive positive sustainable growth and development of your communities. We have exciting programs that will allow members to reflect upon and celebrate our past accomplishments, renew friendships, extend our networks, and jointly explore the current and future direction of our municipal surroundings. Municipal leadership is a challenging yet rewarding subject for anyone who takes on the task. Our intention and hope, by the end of this conference, is to government help you in your various local positions to navigate the uncharted seas toward success. With the backdrop of the beautiful and historic Saint Andrews By-the-Sea, the Conference has shaped up to be excellent, and the networking opportunities will indeed be outstanding.
